1-1/2cupmarshmallows, mini
2cupstrawberries, frozen, sliced, thawed
3ozjello, strawberry
1teaspoonvanilla
2-1/4cupflour
1-1/2cupsugar
3teaspoonbaking powder
1/2cupshortening
1/2teaspoonsalt
1cupmilk
3eacheggs

Directions:

Grease a 9x13 inch pan. Sprinkle marshmallows evenly over bottom of pan. Thoroughly combine thawed strawberries with dry JellO. Set aside.

In a large bowl, combine the remaining ingredients. Blend at low speed until moistened. Then beat 3 minutes at medium speed, scraping sides often. Pour batter evenly over marshmallows in pan. Spoon strawberry mixture evenly over batter.

Bake at 350 degrees for 45 to 50 minutes. Serve warm or cool.
